About Phil Regan

Phil Regan is a professional technical illustrator and visual artist. He has been studying all types of art from an early age and has continued to keep in the know of the various styles of art to give him an up to date knowledge of the art world. He has found a style of art which he feels he is suited to and is constantly developing as he produces more and more work.
After Schooling in 2001, Phil's interest in art and illustration steered him toward furthering his education. Phil studied illustration for two years at Doncaster College and passed his National Diploma achieving a BTEC(ND) in Graphic Design Illustration. Phil continued his with his education and carried out a 3rd year of study pushing his illustration skills further.
At the start 2004 Phil took it upon himself to study another subject as a secondary skill. Phil studied for some time to learn the trade of vehicle refinishing gaining knowledge of the trade and experience in a commercial environment. Qualifying with an NVQ level 2 in 2005, Phil returned to Doncaster college for a further 3 years to complete his degree. Now at the age of 24 Phil has graduated with a BA Honours degree from Doncaster College and is pushing his design skills further into the commercial world.
Over the years of his studying Phil has developed a unique style that is suited to his interest of anything technical or mechanical, vehicles of all kinds, computers, anything that has a power source or anything with moving parts. Also as a visual artist he has found that illustration involves a great variety of artworks looking at all illustrations from film and video to picture illustration in magazines and books. Both of these styles of illustration have influenced Phil as a technical illustrator and visual artist.
